Meet Amy

Amy Buck-Thiessen. A skilled ROTH  trainer and  life long equestrian  who has dedicated her life to horses with over 40 years experience in the equine industry. She is the owner of  Misty Moor Farm located at 15234 East C Ave. Augusta, MI 49012. A holistic facility that embodies natural care. Here we take a step back from performance based horsemanship. We focus on the foundation- connection, communication and teaching the natural language of the horse, building a relationship to take into the saddle of any discipline.

Her passion is sharing her knowledge and supporting youth – the next generation of horsemen. Teaching the natural language of the horse, to communicate in a way a horse truly understands so patterns of poor handling are broken. She provides demonstrations, lessons, small group classes, camps and coaches the Gull Lake High School equestrian team.
